LSRFUR are saddened to learn of the passing of Mark Thornberry.
Mark was an active member of the SW Region during the 2000s, having retired from playing, whilst at the same time being Club Secretary at Dorking RFC. If you have refereed at Dorking, you will have come across Mark. Sadly, for the last few years Mark had been battling Cancer and used his love for distance running/Ultra Marathons to raise >£100K whilst running between Birmingham and Kings College Hospital, London where he was being treated.
